Admission to the Program
Requirements
In I.P.P.D. holders of a degree from the first cycle of studies of the Departments of humanities and sciences and engineering and IT specialties of Universities of the
country or of similar institutions from abroad.
In particular at the I.P.P.D. "Management and Technologies in Cultural Heritage", the following candidates are accepted after an open call:
University Graduates
Graduates of A.E.I. Archeology and History Schools, Polytechnic Schools, Engineering, Physics and Chemistry Schools, Informatics, Telecommunications and Digital Systems Schools, Science and Technology Management Schools, Conservation Schools, Museology and Cultural Organization Management Schools as well as graduates of other A.E.I. and TEI of the country, with a similar subject of study.
Graduates from abroad institutions
Graduates of A.E.I. Schools abroad, of the above categories, with studies legally recognized as equivalent to Greek HEIs, with a BA or BSc degree or another equivalent title.
Graduates under degree of A.E.I and T.E.I.
Graduates of the above categories A.E.I. and T.E.I., as long as they submit evidence that the acquisition of their degree will precede the start of the D.P.M.S.
Admissions Selection Procedure and Criteria
The Department of History, Archeology and Cultural Property Managemen, which has taken over the administrative support of the D.P.M.S, on dates defined by the Curriculum Committee invites expression of interest for the next academic year of operation of the D.P.M.S. The invitation is published on the websites of the collaborating Departments and the D.P.M.S.
The call states the conditions for admission, the categories of graduates accepted, the maximum number of admissions, the method of admission, the selection criteria, the deadlines for submitting applications, the supporting documents required, the appeals process as well as anything else deemed necessary. The applications together with the required supporting documents are submitted to the Secretariat of the Department of History, Archeology and Cultural Property Management or to the Secretariat of the I.P.P.D. in electronic form. Online submission is done via email. Acceptable ways of submitting applications are defined in the notice.
Selection to the Program
Criteria
The Curriculum Committee defines the admissions selection criteria.
The following algorithm is used for the selection of candidates:
1. Qualitative characteristics of the CV which refer mainly to the possession of a second degree, work and research experience (participation in research projects, publications, etc.) with a weight of 50%.
2. The performance – ability of the candidate as shown during the oral interview, with a weight of 30%,
3. The degree with a weight of 20%. In case of possession of more than one degree, the judgment refers to the degree with the greatest relevance in terms of the subject of study of the I.P.P.D.
